Ocean 2012 aims to ensure that the 2012 reform of the EU Common Fisheries Policy stops overfishing, ends destructive fishing practices and delivers fair and equitable use of healthy fish stocks. They have Fish Week events almost all over the Europe; I would love to see one, if you have the chance don’t miss.

No Layout is simply amazing, it is a great digital library for artists and designers. You can view/read all magazines with full content. All publications are from independent publishers and almost all focusing on art, design and fashion.

One of the most beautiful satellite images of Istanbul. It is amazing to see how the metropolitan area is getting bigger each year. Pay attention to the ships on the european side, they are like covey. And it is somehow nice that there is this yellow/blue filter for urban and rural areas. via architizer.

I helped my friend Jona to visualize the data from Japanese earthquakes happened in the last week. The result was a minimal timelapse video but it is astonishing to observe the big hit of sendai earthquake and aftershocks. It must be a quite big psychological challenge to resist to all of those aftershocks. Pray for japan!

You are not in the news, by Sergio Albiac is generative collage portrait series. Well executed posters and a new direction for the usage of generative coding. His other works are also quite noteworthy.

Here is a great collection of russian futurists’ books from 1910 to 1930. Most of these books were self-illustrated and self-published by their authors, and it looks like they loved experimenting with type.
Even though it’s cyrillic, perhaps someone might find it useful.
